Tutorial: Headlight Removal

Published by at 12:00 pm under Mazda Tutorials

Tools Required:

10 mm Socket

Philps Head Screwdriver

Difficulty: 2/10

Time Required: 3 Min / 10 Min for first timer

Prerequisite: Bumper Removal

To start once the bumper has been removed you will have access to the 2 lower bolts that hold the head light in place. There are 3 10 mm bolts that secure the headlight in place and 1 Philips head plastic plug.

In this pic you can see the 2 bolts that were un avaliable due to being behind the bumper. One in the square hole and one all the way to the right.

These are the bolts once removed, the one on the left goes in the top notice near the head is wider and the bolt itself is shorter.

Once bolts have been removed carefully detach the wires for your headlights and twist / turn to remove the turn signal.

Once you have done that you can do all kinds of things a lot easier including “Angel Eyes” and HID Installation.

Krystm’s Garage and it’s affiliates are not responsible for any damage or problems that may come from doing this incorrectly this is only a guide. However if you follow this guide and are careful there should be no problems. Just take your time and follow the guide.
